Summary

Good health research and science start with sex and gender. The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) requires all researchers to incorporate sex and gender considerations in research design, conduct, analysis, and presentation. This presentation provided a review of basic Sex and Gender Based Analysis Plus (SGBA+) concepts in health research, with interactive questions for participants to assess their own understanding of SGBA+.
