After highlighting what is distinct about social media, and what research tells us about its utility for sexual health promotion initiatives, this webinar discussed examples of interventions, the kinds of issues they addressed, and evaluative methods and measures used to gauge impact. The potential of social media was weighed against the extent to which the needs and priorities of diverse, and often marginalized, populations have been integrated.
