Souradet Y. Shaw

Research Interests: Souradet is a PhD student in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. His PhD focuses on using statistical network modelling techniques to understand the complex epidemiology of sexually transmitted and blood borne pathogens (STBBPs) in Manitoba and globally. Souradet used latent variable modelling techniques in his Master of Science thesis to examine users of emergency departments. Souradet has received doctoral awards from the Canadian Institutes of Health and Research Manitoba (formerly Manitoba Health Research Council). He has also received the David G. Fish Memorial Scholarship and Evelyn Shapiro Award for Health Services Research. (From umanitoba.ca)
