Mr. Shurgold is an acting manager in the Antimicrobial Resistance Task Force of the Public Health Agency of Canada and has been a part of the Canadian Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance System since 2017. In collaboration with multiple partners, Jayson works to help develop and promote a comprehensive, integrated AMR and AMU surveillance system at the national level through a One Health lens.
