Jan M. Sargeant

Jan M. Sargeant DVM, MSc, PhD

Jan Sargent has been faculty at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University and in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, McMaster University. Currently, she is the Director of the Centre for Public Health and Zoonoses (CPHAZ) and a professor in the Department of Population Medicine, Ontario Veterinary College (University of Guelph), and holds a CIHR chair in applied public health. Jan’s current research interests are the epidemiology of zoonotic pathogens and evidence-informed decision-making in public health. (From ovc.uoguelph.ca)
