Dr. Willy Dunbar, MD-PhD, is a public health physician-scientist and knowledge mobilization specialist with expertise in infectious diseases, climate and health, One Health, health systems, and global public health. He serves as Knowledge Translation Project Lead and Manager of the CIHR Knowledge Mobilization Hub at NCCID. His interdisciplinary work spans research, programme leadership, knowledge mobilization, capacity strengthening, and stakeholder engagement, with experience across Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America, and other international settings. His work addresses complex public health challenges through systems thinking, cross-sector partnerships, and approaches that strengthen preparedness, resilience, and equitable public health action.
