Camilo Suarez Ariza
Camilo Suarez Ariza is a microbiologist and bioanalyst from Colombia and a PhD candidate in Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the University of Manitoba. His research focuses on the prevalence and antimicrobial resistance of Neisseria gonorrhoeae among people experiencing houselessness and other populations at increased risk of sexually transmitted infections. He is committed to producing research that informs equitable public health action, strengthens community partnerships, and supports evidence-informed clinical and public health interventions.
