Social justice
Social justice is a process which seeks a better distribution of opportunities and resources (such as money) among groups that have historically been at a disadvantage. Among other things, social justice also challenges the roots of injustice, seeks to empower people and build community capacity.
Ethics in public health
Ethics in public health (also called “applied ethics”) seeks to guide practitioners in their decision-making process by setting out moral principles such as solidarity and social justice which can be applied to practical situations. See social justice.
