What Knowledge Mobilization can look like in research

Introduction

This session launched the CIHR Embracing Diversity to Achieve Precision and Health Equity Knowledge Mobilization (KM) Hub co-learning activities. These sessions are designed for trainees across the 19 CIHR-funded Research Teams participating in the initiative.

  • Understand how KM can be applied in real research settings
  • Learn what support and opportunities the Hub will offer
  • Connect with the Hub team and fellow trainees
  • Contribute to shaping future KM learning activities and resources

Summary

This session introduced the KM Hub for the CIHR-funded Embracing Diversity to Achieve Precision and Health Equity Initiative. In this presentation, we outlined purpose of the KM Hub and described what trainees can expect over the coming months. The session will also highlighted upcoming activities and provide an introductory example of what knowledge mobilization can look like in research through a practical case study.

Trainees also had an opportunity to share early questions, expectations, and KM learning priorities, which will continue to shape the Hub’s activities and resources.
